45 police personnel transferred In Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Forty-five more police personnel, including ASIs, police constables and head constables of Ahmedabad City crime branch were transferred on Monday.

Earlier some 39 police personnel were transferred outside Ahmedabad city while 209 other personnel were transferred within the city limits.

The move came after it emerged that the cops had link with the hooch business. The earlier transfers followed after the police allegedly admitted to being hand-in-glove with the bootleggers .

The latest transfers came after the personnel were found to have some direct or indirect involvement in the hooch business.
